Meet the Chef

John Koursaros
Executive Chef


John began cooking as a teenager in Reading, PA surrounded by the Greek and Pennsylvania Dutch foods of his heritage. He graduated from Rutgers University with degrees in history and began his lifelong passion for international travel. He continued his education at Towson University with a certification in education and Baltimore International Culinary College where he studied under Chef Peter Timmons and interned with Chef Roland Jeannier. John was Executive Sous Chef at the Country Club of Maryland from 1998 to 2021, demonstrating his dedication to the club.
